Thanks to the efforts of Ed Scott, our first President, of the former Abbey Carpet and Tile, several business owners on Columbus Road banded together in the early part of 2008 to form an association that would create a structure to serve all the businesses that make up Columbus Road and generate group advertising, marketing, networking and events that would give each member and Columbus Road itself their respective places on the map.
